We personally want to invite YOU, to this years line up! It’s time to get off the sidelines and get excited about continuing education!!!

To kick this year off we are having a “Martinis and Manicure Night” on September 21st 2018 at BLU Martini 4-8pm!
3M Rep will be onsite with perhaps even a small token for us all!
There will be exciting door prizes! As well as Registered Massage Therapists from Midtown Clinic and Lymphedema Kingston providing complementary “mini massages”
and of course best of all- manicures for all! Provided by non other than Cher-Mere Day Spa from downtown Kingston!
This fun interactive evening is to get us all engaged and excited about this upcoming year!!
Memberships will be $60 per member until oct 1 after deadline cost will be $75
Non members meetings will be $15 for attendance

*Cheques and cash will still be accepted at welcome night

You will notice most venues are still “to be determined” as we were busy firming dates and seeing what AV equipment is need and time etc etc.

-Gain an in-depth understanding of employment legislation and contracts and other terms of employment in your workplace. Attention will be given to the Employment Standards Act in Ontario since Bill 148, with a focus on any exceptions that may apply to dental hygienists. You will also get a better understanding what can be included in your employment contracts and what may no longer be enforceable due to the new legislation.

Gen Z: Choices and challenges
The correct and sometimes shocking health behaviours and trends in the teen generation can influence their oral and systemic health. Dental professionals have clinical opportunity to identify risky behaviours.
-identify current dietary trends
-recognize various risky behaviours
-discuss popular social media platforms
-enhance generational communication skills
-customize treatment strategies
